I cook, I’m a cartoonist, I write about travel and food, I live in a cottage in the middle of the woods on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, in Devon (UK).

I also have an Instagram account with the ‘culinary cartoons’ called @kitchenaliacartoons and a Twitter account with other meanderings under the name @KitchenaliaND. My book about food culture in Laos published by Hodder, ‘Ant Egg Soup – The Adventures of a Food Tourist in Laos’ is available on Amazon.

  1. Re your entry about Chudleighs. In the forties and fifties we ate Chudleighs but also had Thunder and Lightning. That was home made white bread, spread thickly with clotted cream and sprinkled with granulated sugar. yummy!

  2. Hi Natasha I’m working on a new primetime series for BBC2 looking at the regional food of britain – I wanted to ask you a couple of questions about regional dishes and producers, would you be kind enough to email me on laura.Abrahams01@bbc.co.uk or call me on 0303 080 4703 or let me know your email address /number and suggest a good time I could make contact? best, Laura

  3. Hi Natacha,

Thanks for the message on the Eating Exeter FB page. What is your email address? I had a look around but couldn’t see it. Most probably man-looking 🙂

I have fixed the contact page on EE as well, now have a handy form rather than an email link that doesn’t work!

    Kind Regards,
