The Young Ones Awards are being held during school’s week on Thursday 14 Feb at Exeter Phoenix at 10am, followed by the Exeter Riddles Awards at 11.15. Both events are free and we hope that Philip Reeve will be there to see the films! Make a day of it for your school and come to the afternoon screenings as well: Film Club’s presentation of Gruffalo’s Child and Room on the Broom, introduced by director Daryl Chute.

Exciting Immersive Game – Time Winders!

Slingshot have created a new immersive game for Animated Exeter, based on the Philip Reeve story The Exeter Riddles.

The game puts the player at the centre of the narrative adventure. Past, present and future collide with surprising and exhilarating consequences as players race against the clock to halt the collapse of Exeter’s timeline and stop the malevolent creatures that are bubbling up out of the time leaks. Time Winders uses the latest in pervasive gaming technology combined with animation and theatre to create a unique story telling experience where the player controls the action.

Each location is set in a different time zone. Players will be set a challenge at each stop, upon completion of which they will be able to stabilise that time zone and move on to the next until a final climatic challenge.

To avoid dissapointment book onto an afternoon session Thu 21 Feb / Fri 22 Feb / Sat 23 Feb. For all the information you need Click Here!
